Under the direction of Joel Davies MFA, Creighton has developed a cutting edge Digital New Media track that combines the Journalism core with upper level computer graphic design courses. Students who wish to emphasize art with a more diverse background may enroll in the interdisciplinary Graphic Design major co-sponsored by JMC and Fine Arts.

Davies, an Apple Distinguished Educator, was in the first wave of MFA’s in graphics and teaches interactive media courses that prepare students for careers that combine art, storytelling and technology. This track takes students into the world of web page creation, multimedia design and typography. Students are prepared for careers in newspapers and other publications, advertising and graphic design agencies and corporate communication departments.
